Casey spent the early part of her career as a venue coordinator in the Texas Hill Country, coordinating nearly 100 weddings and learning the industry from the inside out. When she was ready to focus on the part she loved most — the planning and the couples — she found Truly Together. That was five years ago.
Couples consistently describe her as calming and easy to work with — she listens, she runs with ideas, and she handles whatever comes up without making it anyone else's problem.
She's also quietly hilarious, if you can get her going. When she's not planning weddings or designing something beautiful, she's loves a good Bravo show with her top favorites being Vanderpump Rules or Below Deck.
What's your favorite kind of wedding to plan?
My favorite weddings are the ones that feel genuinely reflective of the couple. I love helping people let go of traditions that don't resonate with them and embrace the ones that truly fit their relationship, values, and the life they're building together. Every wedding should feel like their story, not a checklist of things they feel like they have to do.
What do couples always seem surprised by when they work with you?
I think couples are often surprised by how calm I stay throughout the wedding day. Even when unexpected challenges pop up (because they always do!), my job is to handle them behind the scenes so the couple and their loved ones can stay present and enjoy the celebration. Being a steady, calming presence is one of the things I value most about what I do.
What's your favorite part of the design process?
My favorite part of the design process is getting to know each couple and translating who they are into a space that feels meaningful and intentional. Great wedding design isn't just about making something beautiful—it's about creating an atmosphere that reflects the life they're building together and gives their guests a glimpse into their story.
What does a really good wedding day feel like from your side of it?
A really great wedding day is one where the couple gets to completely turn their brains off and simply experience everything they've spent months planning. When everyone is fully present, laughing, celebrating, and making memories together instead of worrying about logistics—that's when I know we've done our job well.
I'm basically an 80-year-old at heart! You'll usually find me crocheting, embroidering, sewing, or curled up with a good book. I love hobbies that let me slow down and create something with my hands—it's the perfect balance to the fast-paced world of weddings.
"Casey was extremely organized from the start, and our planning sessions throughout kept us on schedule and feeling comfortable every step of the way. She was very organized in vendor referrals and timelines, and brought us some excellent vendors that meshed perfectly with what the couple's vision was for their wedding day."
